The Cooltube is a specially designed reflector in which the lamp lights within a glass cylinder. The glass cylinder is necessary because it provides cooling and ventilation to the lamp, which in turn leads to a reduced heat develop-ment within the grow room. The hot air doesn’t have time to stay at one spot, which means that the heat is avoi-ded within the grow room.
Cooltubes have many benefits, just to name some, they allow you to position the lamp way closer to the plants than you could without a Cooltube, which results in a higher per square absorption of light. The reflector Spudnik 125 is a product that combines the benefits of a cooltube with the reflector and comes as one piece, that only needs installation to run properly. The lamp is installed within the glass cylinder and plugged into a ballast to make it work and the diameters of this reflector allow it to be used in small grow rooms as well.
